Md. man gets 50 years for rape attempt
A former hospital security guard has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for his conviction of attempted rape during a burglary.
Ricky Bostic, 44, was sentenced on Wednesday in Baltimore County Circuit Court.
According to prosecutors, Bostic broke into a home in May 2012 and sexually assaulted two women. Police were able to find fingerprints and DNA at the scene.
At the time of the attacks, Bostic was a security guard at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson. He was also previously a police officer and sheriff’s deputy in California.
