Hearing for suspects in Sean Taylor slaying
A judge set a Thursday hearing for the three remaining suspects in the 2007 slaying of Washington Redskins all-pro safety Sean Taylor. Jason Mitchell, 26, Charles Wardlow, 24, and Timothy Brown, 22, are each charged with first-degree murder and face the possibility of life in prison. The three are accused of partaking in the burglary of Taylor’s home in South Florida, which lead to him being fatally shot, along with alleged shooter Eric Rivera Jr., 23, and fifth man who pleaded guilty. Rivera was sentenced to 57 years in prison last month after being convicted at trial of second-degree murder and armed burglary, although denying that he shot Taylor.
