Drug trafficking case leads to 13 indictments

A federal drug trafficking investigation has led to the indictment of 13 people.

Two of the 13 remain at large, while the other 11 were arrested Thursday and are being held without bail.

According to prosecutors, the drug trafficking operation was responsible for supplying ample amounts of cocaine and heroin to various drug dealers across the country.

The investigation led to the seizing of 3.5 kilograms of cocaine and more than two kilograms of heroin, as well as the recovery of firearms and jewelry worth tens of thousands of dollars.
