Delays for Metro Red Line trains

Between Friendship Heights and Van Ness stations, Red Line has Metro trains traveling on a single track due to a cracked rail. The cracked rail is located outside the Tenleytown Station on the inbound track. All other Red Line trains are heading back to Silver Spring at Farragut North.

Metro has advised Red Line travelers to allow additional time for their Thursday morning commute.
