Body of Iraq veteran found in D.C. river
The body of an Iraq veteran was found in the Anacostia River on Monday. Officials have identified the body as Arlester Jay. His family reported him missing in March. Jay was identified as having drug and alcohol dependencies, he also struggled with post traumatic stress disorder.
Jay’s father, Ernest Jay believes his son was murdered. Police are currently waiting for an autopsy report, but homicide detectives are already involved in the case.
