2 men shot in attempted murder-suicide

According to the Metropolitan police department, two men have been shot and one has been killed in an attempted murder-suicide in Northwest.

The shooting occurred on Thursday at around 6:00 a.m. near the 600 block of Quincy Street. Police have not yet released the names of the victims, but they stated that a younger man shot an older man and then turned the gun on himself.

The older man is conscious and was taken to a local hospital. The younger man died due to a gunshot wound to the head. A weapon has been recovered and police are questioning the neighborhood.
