0

At 1:30 this morning, police responded to an incident at Reston Hospital Center. Police were alerted that a 53-year-old man, with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gun shot wound, could not get into the hospital through the main entrance, so he fired a gunshot to get in. When hospital personnel approached him, he showed his handgun and again fired. Nobody was hurt in this incident, and hospital personnel were able to convince the man to turn over his handgun.
