“All of a sudden he was right behind me, and I felt a pinch on my bottom. I thought he’d grabbed me,” the woman recalled. “I touched my backside — I was wearing leggings — and I felt my skin, so I said, ‘You just ripped my leggings.’ I didn’t even know I was cut at first.” The 20-year-old victim of the Virginia “mall slasher” spoke out against the crime she experienced while leaving Fair Oaks Mall near Champps Americana restaurant.
The young woman, who is pregnant, recalls the man replying, “‘No, no, no, it was the bag,’ and he hurried around the corner.” She later reported the incident to the Fairfax County Police station near the mall.
