Pentagon shooter to be sentenced

Sentencing will begin Friday for an ex-marine convicted of multiple shootings at military locations. Yonathan Melaku, of Alexandria, was arrested and pleaded guilty for shootings that occurred at the Marine Corps museum in Quantico, VA, and at the Pentagon in 2010. Although no one was injured in the attacks, prosecutors are seeking a 25-year prison sentence agreed upon during plea deals. Melaku, who has since been diagnosed at schizophrenic, has obtained new lawyers who argue that the plea sentence should be re-negotiated on the premise of his mental illness.
