The Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington is inviting men to attend a health and wellness event aimed at their specific needs this Saturday, Nov. 3. The goal is to change the way men think about health care–especially preventative tests and screenings. Organizers have called the event “The Guys Full Body Tune- Up: A Men’s Health Event” to draw parallels between the way men care for their cars and the way they should care for their bodies as well. There will be doctors and specialists in attendance, lecturing on important annual tests and how men can stay fit.
The event is free, but participants are asked to register by calling 703-558-6848 or visiting Virginia Hospital Center’s website. Attendees at the session, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., will receive complimentary breakfast and travel shaving kits.
