Trever Tutwiler has been sentenced to 6 ½ years in prison for conspiring to import drugs from China. Tutwiler, 22, of Henrico, was sentenced during U.S. District Court in Richmond on Thursday after he plead guilty in November. Court documents claim that Tutwiler served as the leader of a suburban drug trafficking group that imported methylone from China. According to authorities, Tutwiler pooled money from his co-conspirators and ordered a kilogram of the drug off of the website of a business in China. Tutwiler was arrested after law enforcement officials conducted a controlled delivery of the drug to his residence after discovering the package as it entered the United States.
