Two former child-care center workers have been indicted for multiple of counts of abuse to children under their care. Former employees of Minnieland Academy at the Glen in Woodbridge, Kierra Spriggs, 24, and Sarah Jordan, were indicted by a Prince William County grand jury this week, proceeding charges filed against them in November. Spriggs was indicted on 57 charges that included counts of child cruelty, assault, and battery while Jordan is facing 39 counts. According to an investigative report done by the Virginia Department of Social Services, the women encouraged toddlers to fight and dunked children afraid of water into wading pools. The report also discovered that the women laughed about feeding the children Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Minnieland claims they have fired the women.
