East Coast rapist receives two more life sentences
Aaron Thomas, also know as the East Coast rapist, has received two more life sentences for the kidnapping and rape of a Leesburg woman. The sentence was added on top of three other life terms given to Thomas on March 1st. The three prior sentences were charged for the attacks of three teenagers in 2009.
Police report that Thomas is responsible for 17 rapes and sex crimes between 1997 and 2009, all within Virginia, Maryland, and Connecticut areas. He was finally arrested in 2011 after police forces teamed up to capture him.
