Dufner wins PGA Championship
American Jason Dufner won the 2013 PGA Championship on Sunday after shooting ten-under in the final round. This is Dufner’s first major title. “I can’t believe this is happening to me,” Dufner said after the game. “To come back from a couple of years ago in this championship when I lost to Keegan in the play-off, to win feels really, really good. The last two holes were a little unfortunate. I wish I could’ve closed out with no bogeys but I am happy to get the job done. It’s a big step for my career.”
Fellow American Jim Furyk originally held the lead overnight, shooting eight-under to earn second place. Dufner, a two-time PGA Tour winner was close to winning the 2011 PGA title before losing his five-shot lead.
