Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay has been charged with two misdemeanors as a result of a driving arrest in March. Irsay has been charged with one count of driving while intoxicated and one count of operating a motor vehicle with a schedule I or II controlled substance in the body—According to the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s office, the substances were identified as oxycondone and/or hydrocodone. The maximum sentence for each of the charges is 50 days in jail and a fine of $500—jail time is unlikely for Irsay, who is a first-time offender. The arrest took place on March 16 near Carmel, Indianapolis; an initial hearing is set for June 19.
