The Washington Wizards haven’t won a game above .500 since 2009, with last night’s game no exception. The Boston Celtics beat the Wizards 113-111 in overtime in an unsuccessful attempt to pick up a game at or above .500. Jeff Green had a season high of 39 points, giving Boston a 19 point lead at the end of the first half. Green also had a career high of 16 attempted 3-pointers. The Celtics played without Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley, and Jerryd Bayles, all out due to injuries. John Wall had 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the Wizards, getting his second career triple-double but only went 9 for 29 from the field. Washington tied the game when Marcin Gortat made one of two free throws with 13 seconds left in the overtime, but Gerald Wallace hit a last second shot for Boston.
