Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow upset the Pittsburgh Steelers, throwing a career-high 316 yards and two touchdown passes during the course of Denver’s 29-23 overtime game. It was the first round of the AFC playoffs, with Pittsburgh heavily favored to win. In the first play of overtime, Tebow threw to receiver Demaryius Thomas, who then rushed the ball into the endzone for an 80-yard touchdown catch.

It was the shortest overtime period in NFL history, at only 11 seconds. “We just executed a little bit better. We just tried to step up,” Tebow said following the game. “We knew it was win, or go home. And this team wanted to fight, and we wanted to play another game.”
