Three judges at the fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond Virginia have ruled the ban on gay marriage as unconstitutional. In February, U.S. District Judge Arenda Wright Allen stated that Virginia’s same-sex marriage ban violates equal protection. The lawsuit was filed by two men from Norfolk who were denied a marriage license and two Chesterfield County women whose married in California and would like their marriage recognized by Virginia.
