Democratic nominee candidate Bernie Sanders will meet with President Barack Obama today, their second White House meeting during the primary season. Obama’s aides said the President would work to move Sanders toward accepting Hillary Clinton as the Democratic nominee. While Obama will not ask Sanders to drop out of the race, Obama’s formal endorsement of Clinton could come as early as Thursday. “My hope is, is that over the next couple of weeks, we’re able to pull things together,” Obama told Jimmy Fallon during a taping of “The Tonight Show” Wednesday. “The main role I’m gonna be playing in this process is — to remind the American people that this is a serious job. You know, this is not reality TV.” Sanders will also meet with Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid.
