Obama does not want to endorse Clinton in primary campaign

Recent news outlets have revealed that president Barack Obama is not planning to endorse former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton for president during next year’s election. According to White House press secretary Josh Earnest, the reason is because other friends of his may also decide to run and he will want to support them instead. Although Earnest did not bring up any specific names, that could potentially include Vice-President Joe Biden, who is currently debating whether to enter the race. However, Obama did tell the press over the weekend that Clinton would be an excellent president. Earnest stated that it is up to Democratic voters to choose their presidential nominee. He added that the nominee can feel confident knowing that they will have the president’s full support.
