Obama accepts “Obamacare”; “I do care”

While speaking before a crowd at his first stop on a week-long Midwestern tour, President Barack Obama attempted to take credit for the term “Obamacare.” “Obamacare” is a 2008 phrase created by Republicans to negatively project Obama’s 2008 passing of his health care bill.

“I have no problem with people saying Obama cares,” the president said. He later added, “”I do care. If the other side wants to be the folks who don’t care? That’s fine with me.”
