In her first television interview since being shot in the head on Jan. 8, Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords will sit down with Diane Sawyer of ABC news. Giffords will participate in the interview with her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly. The extent of the interview will depend on the track of her recovery. Giffords has been making continual progress in recent months. In August she voted on the debt ceiling bill.
The interview will air Nov. 14, the night before the release of Giffords’ book. “Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope.”
