Approval rating of Obama’s handling of economy hits new low

According to the most recent Gallup poll released on Wednesday, the public approval of President Barack Obama’s handling of the economy has dropped to an all-new low of 26 percent. The low approval rating can be attributed to the recent fight between the White House and Congress over federal spending.

The Gallup poll also showed that 71 percent of the nation disapproves of how the president is handling the economy. The president expects to give a speech Labor Day weekend on the status of the economy and the plan going forward to create more jobs.
