Washington state male arrested for emailed threats to President Obama

A man from Washington state, accused of emailing threats to President Barack Obama and brandishing a shotgun at officers who came to his door, is scheduled to appear in federal court. Anton Caluori was arrested on Tuesday at an apartment in Federal Way for investigation of making threats against the president and assault on a federal officer, according to Secret Service spokesman Brian Leary. Emily Langlie, U.S. attorney’s spokeswoman, said the threat was sent to a general purpose FBI email address.

Caluori, 31, is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
