Problems reported in multiple states on important election day

The Washington Post is reporting glitches in the voting machines in Virginia. At some polling locations early Tuesday, there were problems with the font on the touch screen machines. Officials have stated that thee problem has been fixed and they do not anticipate delays. Candidates and officials are urging voters to double check their ballot summary to make sure the record shows the choices they wanted to make. Elsewhere, Georgia is experiencing technical difficulties and Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy has asked a judge to extend voting hours after reports of problems and delays in the state’s capital of Hartford.
