Ohio kidnapping victims speak
The three women held captive by Ariel Castro in Cleveland for ten years released a YouTube video on Monday, speaking to the public for the first time since their release. In the video, Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight thanked the public for their kind words and support. It was posted just before midnight and lasts approximately 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
The women went missing at different points between 2002 and 2004. Castro was arrested on May 6 and is accused of various charges, including starving and punching Knight, which caused her to miscarry a baby.
