Jimmy McMillan, a resident of New York who ran for state governor because “the rent is too damn high” is being evicted from his rent-controlled apartment because his landlord wants to give the apartment to another tenet who is paying more. Says McMillan, the landlord wants him out because “my rent is too damn low.” McMillan now has intentions of running for president and plans to file a counter claim for $70,000.

A gubernatorial candidate, McMillan ran for government for the “Rent Is Too Damn High Party.” In a statement by McMillan’s landlord Lisco Holdings, Holdings stated that McMillan was in violation of his contract because the apartment was not the candidate’s primary residence. McMillan reportedly lives in Brooklyn.
