Health and Human Services officials stated Monday that new predictions for 2015 enrollment in health insurance through the Affordable Care Act will be much lower than previous ones. 9 million to 9.9 million Americans are expected to enrol, reports the Washington Post. This figure is down nearly 30 percent from previous estimates. A year after the last enrollment period, 7.1 million people were still paying customers of ACA health plans, which was down from the original 8 million just after the start. The next enrollment period begins Nov. 15. The Supreme Court will review the government subsidy aspect of the Act Friday, even as newly-elected Republicans vow to continue the fight against the law.
