On January 22, three inmates escaped from an Orange County maximum security prison. While one escapee, Bac Duond, 43, surrendered on Friday, the other two remained on the loose until yesterday. Hossein Nayeri, 37, and Jonathon Tieu, 20, were apprehended in San Francisco’s Park District about 375 miles north of the Orange County Prison after the police received a tip from a man who noticed the fugitive’s stolen van in a parking lot. Nayeri is believed to have been the mastermind behind the prison break.
