A divided Supreme Court has decided to halt President Barack Obama’s plan to address climate change until legal discrepancies are resolved. The plan sought to reduce carbon emissions at power plants by 1/3 by 2030. A mostly Republican 27-state coalition first brought the issue to the Supreme Court by calling Obama’s plan, “an unprecedented power grab.” Appellate arguments are to begin on June 2nd.
