Military helicopter crash kills eleven

A rescue party struggled Wednesday to find the bodies of seven Marines and four soldiers killed after a tragic helicopter crash. According to officials, a second helicopter turned back safely shortly before the wreck, which left debris scattered along the Florida coast. Military officials have not said what caused the crash of the UH-60 Black Hawk, but the weather was severe enough for the other crew to return to land. The helicopter involved in the crash had a veteran crew from Hammond, Louisiana, that served multiple tours in Iraq and assisted with humanitarian missions after Gulf Coast hurricanes and the BP oil spill. Human remains were found Wednesday before the weather deteriorated again, and all eleven service members were presumed dead. But it is still considered to be a search and rescue mission.
