McQueary testifies at Penn State officials’ hearing

Former Penn State quarterback Mike McQueary testified against Jerry Sandusky Friday. McQueary says he believes he saw Sandusky molesting a boy in a locker-room shower in 2002. He said he heard what sounded like skin on skin, and saw Sandusky behind the boy, and the boy against a wall in the shower. He said he believes they were engaged in intercourse but cannot be sure. McQueary says he was “shocked” and “horrified” by what he had seen, and that he had not been thinking straight.

McQueary was the first key witness in a hearing against two university officials. The officials, Tim Curley and Gary Schultz, are charged with perjury and failing to report suspected child abuse. The hearing will determine whether there is enough evidence to warrant putting them on trial.
