Disneyland employee arrested after explosion in park
An employee at the Disneyland theme park in Southern California was arrested on Tuesday after a small explosion occurred within the theme park. Police identified the suspect as Christian Barnes. The charge against Barnes is suspicion of possessing a destructive device.
Around 5:30pm on Tuesday, there was “a small bang” that came from a trash can in the Toontown section of the park, according to park attendees. According to the Anaheim police, the noise was caused by a water bottle that exploded because it had dry ice inside. There were no injuries or damage, but police evacuated that section of the park to investigate further.
