Prince George’s County Police stated that three restaurants along the same road were robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night. The restaurants were all within a mile and a half of each other, and located on Annapolis Road in the Landover Hills area. The robberies had all occurred within the time span of a half hour. Police say they are investigating whether the robberies are all connected. Surveillance footage from two of the restaurants show a similar looking man dressed all in black, and his face covered with a mask. The first robbery happened around 8:50 p.m. at a McDonald’s at the intersection of Annapolis Road and Veterans Parkway. The second happened twenty-five minutes later at the Tacos 5 de Mayo restaurant a half mile southwest on Annapolis. Just five minutes after that, a man with a gun also robbed a Pizzaboli’s a mile further down the road. Employees gave the man cash and he left without hurting anyone.
