An 18-year-old Bowie State University student identified as Dominique T. Frazier was stabbed to death Thursday night. Within four hours, her roommate turned herself in. The stabbing is the result of an argument that escalated. The roommate is in custody, but her identity has been withheld until she is charged.
Police are obtaining a search warrant for the suite in the residence hall, and will also conduct a search of the area where the crime occurred. University classes were cancelled Friday.
