Tuesday morning Del. Ron George announced former Frederick Alderman Shelley Aloi will be his running mate in Maryland’s Republican primary race for governor. Aloi just served four years as alderman in Frederick and she is currently working as a banking analyst. George, of Anne Arundel County, has been a member of the Maryland House of Delegates since 2007 and will be running against Harford County Executive David Craig, real estate broker Larry Hogan, and Charles County businessman Charles Lollar. Craig’s running mate will be Jeannie Haddaway, Hogan’s will be Boyd Rutherford, and Lollar’s will be Kenneth Timmerman.
