O’Malley talks ‘framework’ for 2016 presidential bid
Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley has given a strong indication that he is considering a 2016 run for the Democratic nomination for president.
The statement came during a conversation with a group of Milwaukee reporters, where O’Malley is attending a governor’s conference.
When asked about a possible run for president, O’Malley said that by the end of this year, he expects to have a body of work that creates the “framework of a candidacy for 2016”
O’Malley’s decision still depends on what Hillary Clinton decides to do regarding a 2016 presidential bid.
