Maryland – Officer trial defense team to review information from state

The defense team for 46-year-old Caesar Goodson who is on trial for the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray will review information that the state was forced to turn over and will decide whether to file motions. Goodson is charged with second-degree murder for the fatal injuries that Gray sustained while in the back of the police wagon that Goodson was driving. Circuit Judge Barry Williams admonished the state for failing to disclose information to the defense that could be considered helpful to them. He gave them until Monday to produce the information and on Monday prosecutors presented a packet. Testimony will continue Tuesday.
