Maryland basketball arena renamed Xfinity Center

The University of Maryland basketball arena has received a new name, The Xfinity Center. The arena, previously known as the Comcast Center, is being renamed by the brand owners. The arena seats nearly 18,000 people and host the men and women’s basketball as well as gymnastics, volleyball and wrestling matches. The athletic department’s administrative offices are also located there.
