A Maryland man has been indicted on a murder charge for the stabbing death of his World War II veteran neighbor. The Montgomery County grand jury found probable cause that 60-year-old Eric Dyson murdered and stole from 95-year-old Dan Belvin at the Randolph Village Senior Living community where both resided. Ramon Korionoff, public affairs director with the Montgomery County States Attorney’s office, stated that Dyson is being charged for murder, theft, and credit card misuse. Belvin was found mortally wounded in his apartment in late February. Dyson was caught on store surveillance footage using the victim’s credit cards and racked up a $5,500 bill. Dyson will be tried sometime within the next six months.
