Man charged with DUI after hitting a bus

Ocean City Police have charged a man with driving under the influence of alcohol after he hit a bus and fled from the scene.

The accident occurred around 2:45 a.m. on Sunday near 7th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. According to police, a municipal bus was traveling on Pennsylvania Avenue when a car failed to stop at a stop sign on 7th Street and hit the bus. Police say the car then hit another vehicle and drove off.

Twenty-year-old Maxwell Mosscrop has been charged with 17 offenses. He was released on a $10,000 bond.
