Gary Giordano, 50, is the chief suspect in the case of missing Robyn Gardner of Frederick, Maryland who disappeared in Aruba days ago. Gardner flew down to Aruba on invitation from Giordano, who she met on the internet and has had a relationship with for the past year.
Despite her loud appearance which features many tattoos, Gardner, 35, is rather reserved and quiet, but, according to her friend and part-time roommate Christina Jones, also very trusting. Due to the number of inconsistencies in Giordano’s account of how Gardner disappeared, the Aruban authorities had no choice but to arrest him rather than let him leave the Caribbean island. According to Giordano, Gardner disappeared while snorkeling.
