Commuters will be glad to hear that the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, closed Saturday due to problems with bridge construction, reopened early Sunday morning. The closure occurred when construction crews replaced a bridge over West Nursery Road near BWI airport. Teams using hydraulic equipment inserted a new 500 ton bridge over the parkway.
There have been previous closings due to construction of the new bridge in October, but commuters Monday morning will find the work completed.
