A bull running loose in West Baltimore was shot Friday morning by a Baltimore City officer. Sarah Connolly, a police spokeswoman, says they received phone calls from business owners about the animal running free on the intersection of Charles and Biddle streets in the Mount Vernon neighborhood. The neighborhood homes numerous bars, restaurants and shops. Police believe the bull escaped from a slaughterhouse in West Baltimore. Connolly believes the bull was killed, but the death has not been confirmed.
