According to Montgomery County fire and rescue officials a baby was born Friday morning on I-270. The incident occurred at 6 a.m near Middlebrook Lane in the southbound lanes of the highway, when the parents were on their way to the hospital. They pulled over when they realized they weren’t going to make it. Emergency officials evaluated and assisted with the birth and transporting the mom and child to a local hospital. Mother and baby are doing fine.
