Two adults and one baby are dead in what police suspect to be a murder-suicide.
The fatal shooting took place in the quiet town of Near Market, near Frederick, Maryland Wednesday night.
A call was made to police around 8:15 p.m. after a 5-year-old girl fled the scene and ran to a neighbor’s house where she alerted them of an altercation at her home.
Police found a handgun at the scene along with the bodies of a 42-year-old woman, and 40-year-old man and an infant less than a year old.
More details will be released as officials continue to investigate the incident.
