Rappers Kanye West and Nicki Minaj have been added to the star-studded list of performers for Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards. West will close out the show at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena with material off his upcoming new album “Swish.” While he is a five-time winner, this will be his first performance at the Billboard Music Awards. Before she heads out on her “Pinkprint Tour” this July, Nicki Minaj will perform her new hit singles “The Night Is Still Young” and “Hey Mama,” (collaboration with David Guetta) on the BMA stage. Dick Clark Productions also publicized Tuesday that Wiz Khalifa will be joined by Charlie Puth and violinist Lindsey Stirling to perform his chart-topping hit (in remembrance of actor Paul Walker) “See You Again,” off the “Furious 7” soundtrack. Rock quartet Imagine Dragons will also pay tribute to the late Ben E. King by singing “Stand by Me.” Previously announced performers include: Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Iggy Azalea, Ed Sheeran, Nick Jonas, Van Halen, Meghan Trainor, Little Big Town with Faith Hall and “Empire” cast members Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray. The top nominee is Taylor Swift with fourteen. The show will air on ABC starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
