Singer-actress Willa Ford and her retired hockey star husband, Mike Modano, have decided to call it quits. The pair, who wed in 2007 in Athens, Texas, were married for five years. Modano, 42, is the highest-scoring American-born player in NHL history with 561 goals and 1,374 points. He spent 21 years with the Stars in Minnesota and Dallas and retired after one season with the Detroit Red Wings. Ford, 31, started her career as a singer in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The Florida native and “I Want to be Bad” singer appeared on “Dancing With the Stars” in 2006 and is now featured in the Starz television drama “Magic City.”
Other information on the couple’s divorce has not been released.
