Van Gogh museum reopens

The Van Gogh Museum in Amesterdam will reopen this week after being shut down due to renovation. The renovation will help to kick off the museums new exhibit, “Vincent at Work”, which depicts Van Gogh’s working methods.

The exhibit also includes a self-portrait of Van Gogh painting himself behind a canvas with a brush and palette in hand. A highlight of the display will be Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” on either side of the famous “La Berceuse”. In a letter, Van Gogh indicated that he wanted the paintings hung in that order.
