Tina Turner Married in Switzerland

According to a local mayor, rock singer Tina Turner married her longtime German boyfriend Erwin Bach on Thursday.

Turner, 73, tied the knot at the registry office of her Zurich-area community with Bach, 53, who is a music executive. The couple, whose relationship began in the 1980s, had a typical civil ceremony several weeks ago.

Turner’s first marriage was to her former musical partner Ike Turner. She divorced Turner and wrote about him in her autobiography-turned-movie. Turner, whose original name is Anna Mae Bullock, became a Swiss citizen earlier this year after living in the country for nearly two decades.
